Real World connections

Follow this link to an article in a medical journal that addresses The Count of Monte Cristo. Read the article. There is quite a bit of medical jargon, but you should still be able to get the gist of what the author is saying. Respond by telling me what the priest died from in a complete sentence. In addition, write one to two additional comments you have about this article.

  2. The priest has died from a Cerebrovascular disease. He had said to Dantes that he has had these attacks before and it runs in his family. Faria had also told Dantes that his doctor told him he has a chance of dying on the third time it happens. Niaz, Laura and Caasi.

  3. The priest died from a disease (called Cerebrovascular disease) that his father and grandfather both had. He has already had 2 srikes of the disease and he know's that the 3rd one will kill him. I find it wierd that Faria hadn't warned Dantes about the disease earlier.

  7. The priest died from Cerebrovascular Disease.
What the priest is going threw mocks the look of death or dying. Dumas witnessed these encounters while writing this book from his mother who died of cerebrovascular disease.
